25th April 2004 Surfing: Ynyslas Wind Direction: NW Wind Stength: 3 knots Surf / Sea State: 2-3 foot surf Air Temperature: 15ºC Sea Temperature: 10ºC Weather: Sunny Max Speed: Distance Covered: A lovely little surf session. At first I was out on my own, and pleasantly surprised by the warmth of the sea despite not wearing a hood or gloves (I wore my hood earlier in the week and still got an ice-cream headache!). I had a few nice little 2 foot waves, and then Margi came out on her surf ski and Chris on his mal. The swell then picked up for a while with some nice 3 foot sets coming through and we all had a good time of it for an hour or so before it seemed to drop off a little again. Margi broke the rudder on her ski and went back in and Shem came out to join us. Shem didn't stay out for long, and then Chris went in too, so I decided to head off and see if Jenson Button could hold off Schumacher in the Grand Prix.... fat chance of that!! All in all a good session with some nice rides in gorgeous sunshine with some mates...what more could you want. |
